Built for two to four inch pipe sizes, Fitter Grips enable you to fit a
fitting to pipe, and fitting to fitting in three easy steps...
1. Gripping
2. Adjusting high/low
3. Holding the fitting

Once these steps have been followed both of your hands are free!

When fitting flanges to other fittings be sure when holding flange with holding arm to put hooked end into flange bolt hole, flange will now be secure.
To level some fittings, a small 5" pocket level will be required. This is because holding arm will be over top and too close to the part of the fitting to be leveled, which is usually leveled with a torpedo level.

Storage

To store fitter grips in tool box, take arm out of arm holder, unscrew arm holder, then take thumb screw out of dog closest to handle. Take arm holder and screw into dog towards inside of tool, Once this is done, put arm back into arm-holder with hooked end away from handle and secure with thumb screw. Put remaining thumb screw where arm holder used to be. Fitter Grips are now ready for storage.
