Click here to see an instruction booklet for the Pipe Dissector This is real multi-purpose tool for pipe fitters, pipe fabricators, steam fitters, iron workers, machinists, and any other tradesmen who work with steel pipe or plate. Well, actually it could be used on copper, pvc, or cast iron pipe as well. It is so new that all of the different uses have not been fully explored. So far, they have found that it does some of the work of a centering head, adjustable flange level, magnetized level, and flange square. It can also be used to mark straight ordinate lines on side of pipes. When used with two hole pins, it will operate like an adjustable flange aligner. It appears that its optimal use will be between 1" and 12" pipe although it will still have uses with larger pipe.
